Crowe in fine form

PA Hamilton Martin Crowe hit his second century in three days when he led Central Districts to a six-wicket victory over Northern Districts in a one-day cricket friendly fixture at Hamilton yesterday. Crowe was 104 not out when Central reached 206 for four. It had earlier restricted Northern Districts to 205 for eight in 50 overs after the home side had been 136 for one at one stage. As soon as Crowe reached the wicket he took command, just as he did on Friday when he made 105 against a similar Northern attack. Scores: Northern Districts 205 for eight (G. Hick 61, D. White 57, B. Young 27, S. Thomson 18; G. Robertson five for 32, P. Unwin one for 13, D. Finlay 1 for 44), Central Districts 206 for four (M. Crowe 104 not out, G. Robertson 33 not out, S. Robertson 30; B. Bracewell one for 26, G. Bradburn one for 38).
