Sir,—l wish Dame Kiri Te Kanawa would stop acting the prima donna. This constant harping about an Auckland Aotea Centre is becoming rather tiresome. If only she could change the record now and take an example from Lily Kraus, an honorary New Zealander, and a great concert pianist, who returned to New Zealand regularly, until she became too frail. Lily Kraus played anywhere, without ever complaining about the place or venue. I, for one, am going to change the record and play some Elizabeth Schumann. — Yours, etc.,
