Waihopai women end protest camp

Women protesters outside the satellite communications site in Waihopai Valley broke camp at the week-end. The women, who set up the protest camp in May, felt they had achieved what they set out to do, said Ms Glenda Hunnisett. It had been “a pretty rugged winter” and it was time to move on.
