Geraldine heartless
Timaru reporter Geraldine, the town that says it is all heart, has missed out on having Phar Lap’s heart in its trade fair at the end of the month. A Geraldine businessman, Mr Peter Adams, said the Australian National Museum in Canberra has lent the heart to the Victoria Museum until the end of the year, thereby precluding its display at the trade fair. “We’ll still probably do a Phar Lap display since South Canterbury is the region where Phar Lap came from,” Mr
