Extension announced
The announcement of those sires whose stock will be eligible for the WRC Magic Millions Sires’ Stakes has been extended from July 17 until August
A $500,000 race for two-year-olds over 1200 metres at Trentham in January 1990, it is restricted to the stock of those stallions with yearlings accepted for the inaugural N.Z. Magic Millions sale.
Entries for the sale, to be held at the Trentham Sales Stables on January 20 and 22, 1989, number more than 1000, according to N.Z. Magic Millions executive director John Needham. The extra time will allow N.Z. Magic Millions to thoroughly assess those yearlings entered before announcing a final list of sires with stock accepted for sale.
As a consequence, the date for lodging entries for the WRC Magic Millions Sires* Stakes has been extended to Monday, l5.
