Cleaners’ strikes averted
PA I Wellington Threat of further industrial action by cleaners was averted ; yesterday after . talks between the Cleaners' .Union and the Education’ Department resolved disputed matters.
But two issues, ■ including the union’s claim for a 9.13 per cent pay rise, were not settled. [ The other unresolved claim was for new sickness leave provisions for part-time workers!
