Aranui health fair
A community health fair will be held today at the Aranui Family Centre, Hampshire Street, between 10 a.m. and 4. p.m. About 25 groups from the Aranui community will be represented at the fair.
The Aranui community worker, Ms Mary Harrison, said stalls would offer information on health, welfare, housing, employment and education.
“We want it to be very much like a fair —! lots of fun — but we also want to give the community information on what is available in the way of support and guidelines relating to their health,” she said.
The fair has been organised by the Community Mental Health team.
