Chch men injured as car hits pole
Three Christchurch men were injured in an early morning road accident at Rakaia on Saturday. The car they were driving north hit a power pole on State highway 1. Messrs Trevor Eckhold, David Pearson and Anton Rautahi were all admitted to Ashburton Hospital
with moderately serious injuries. ® An advertisement in the public notices of “The Press” on Saturday paid off for a Christchurch car owner. Her Toyota car, taken from Christchurch on January 27, was found in Peter Street, Ashburton, on Saturday after a woman read the advertisement
