Scholarships for dance awarded

Christchurch dancers gained two of the four scholarships awarded during the demonstration concert at the Residential Summer Dance School at Lincoln College recently. Jeanie Hobbs, aged 11, of Christchurch, won the junior prize for the most improved student in the Highland dance section, while Dianne Kidd, aged 13, of Southland, was awarded the senior prize.
