Strait swim attempt
PA Wellington Weather conditions permitting, the internationally ranked marathon swimmer, Philip Rush, will attempt a triple crossing of Cook Strait this morning.
A swim of Cook Strait, notorious for its changing weather conditions and cold waters, was only feasible between January and March, said Rush. He was hoping to catch the tail end of a southerly wind. Z
