Moller withdraws
NZPA Hong Kong New Zealand’s Lorraine Moller, the defending champion of the Osaka international women’s marathon, has withdrawn from this year’s race due to be run on Sunday, according to the “Japan Times.” Moller, aged 32, defeated Australia’s 1986 Commonwealth Games gold medallist, Lisa Martin, in Osaka’s snow and wind in a time of 2:30.40 last year. No reason for Moller’s withdrawal was given.
