Suspension for Isherwood
PA Palmerston North A Woodville apprentice, Leanne Isherwood, had a mixed day at the Manawatu Racing Club’s meeting yesterday. She scored an easy win on Commanding Officer, but in the next race earned a suspension.
Isherwood looked set for an easy win on Bard, but was caught at the
finish by Princess Prieur. She was found guilty of not riding Bard out to the finish and suspended up to and including February 13.
This takes in the second day at Gisborne and three days at Wairoa, where she would have been riding other members of her employer, Bruce Marsh’s, team.
