YACHTING The keeler. Southern Fun, skippered by lan Franklin, won the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club’s first-division opening day race at Lyttelton. Southern Fun relished the 20-knot winds. In the second division the Ross 980 keeler, Recreation, skippered by Russell Forward, took line honours by 24s from Farrenzy (S. Terrell, R. Harris). The first yacht to cross the line in the division, Bacchus 11, was disqualified. Ma Jong (J. G. Robinson)
