Rugs on racks for easy choice

The new rug section at the Carpet Market displays rugs to their best advantage. The rugs hang from racks in a special section of their own, which makes it easy for the customer to view and select from the extensive range, says Mr Keith Mills, owner of the Carpet Market. The rugs range in size from small hearth rugs through to rugs large enough to be the dominant feature in the room. Some are New Zealandmade. There are Persian rugs imported from Belgium, handcrafted Chinese and Indian rugs. The simulated Persian rugs come from Canada. Most are traditionally styled. Flokatis, another type of rug popular with many people, are made from handwoven sheepskin. The Carpet Market has a full colour selection in their rugs which will tone in with any decor. Mr Mills says many people buy rugs to give life and colour to a room while others use rugs to delay recarpeting.
