Gallic revenge
NZPA-AFP Edinburgh The French rugby union tourists regained their pride in Scotland on Wednesday with a 22-9 victory over Edinburgh. Flyhalf Jean-Patrick Lescarboura ensured there would be no repeat of Saturday’s shock defeat
by the Anglo-Scots by dropping two goals, kicking three penalties and scoring the only try of the match. Only a penalty from fullback Jean-Baptiste Lafond prevented Lescarboura collecting all the tourists* points.
