Tennis seedings
The seedings have been released for the Placemakers tie breaker open tennis tournament at the Shirley Tennis Club on Sunday. The tournament has attracted some top Canterbury players. Competition will start at 9.30 a.m.
The seedings are.— Men: Brett Hibbert, 1; Peter Hampton, 2; Hugh Robinson, 3; Michael Mooney, 4; Vern Aubery, 5; Richard Dalman, 6; Andrew Batle, 7; Alister Hunt, 8. Women: Robyn Hunt, 1: Amanda Trail, 2; Ann Culhane, 3; Leigh Johnson, 4.
