Car hits tombstone
A converted car was badly damaged when it ploughed into a tombstone in Barbadoes Street Cemetery yesterday afternoon. The police sealed off the area in a bid to catch the youth driving the car, who fled the scene through nearby properties
about 2 p.m. He was found 30 minutes later by a Ministry of Transport patrol and has been charged with unlawfully taking the Hillman Hunter. The car had been taken earlier in the afternoon from the central city.
