Robbery outside club
A man was knocked unconscious and robbed of $3O early on Sunday morning after leaving Romanov’s Nightclub in Manchester Street. Detective Senior-Ser-geant Colin Dalzell said the incident occurred about 3 a.m.
It is possible that the offender had taken exception to the victim speaking to a woman. Moments, before the robbery the attacker said, "Lay off my bird.” The robber was a male Polynesian, aged 20 to 25, 174 cm (sft 9in) tall, of heavy build with short black hair. He was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans.
