Pele agrees to play
NZPA-AP London Pele, the former Brazilian soccer star, has agreed to play in an exhibition match marking the 100th birthday of the English Football League. The 46,-year-old accepted an invitation to play for a Rest of the World team against an
English side at Wembley
Stadium on August 8. "Of course it is an honour and I shall be delighted to be there with famous players of today,’’. Pele told “The Times” in Zurich, Switzerland, where he was attending Wednesday’s exhibition match between Italy and Argentina.
