China completes double
NZPA-Reuter New Delhi China completed an emphatic sweep of the team Titles at the world table tennis championships yesterday when It trounced Sweden, 5-0, in ipe men’s final after beating South Korea, 3-0, to clinch the women's crown.
The men’s successful title defence left Sweden runnerup as it was in the last championships at Gothenburg in 1985, and China’s smooth progress was disturbed only when- the tournament’s Ndwl playas', Jiang Jialiwg, dropped a game in each of his two matches.
