Renner runs close
Peter Renner (New Brighton) came within two seconds of breaking his own record of 14 minutes 1 second when he won the final race in the Adidas King and Queen of the Road running series around North Hagley Park last evening. The five race series was sponsored by Adidas and Peter Woodham Real Estate and organised by the St Martin’s Harrier Club. Results.— Men: Renner, 14:03, 1; J. Greenwood (United) 14:34, 2; J.
