Outstanding four days for Canterbury swimmers

Canterbury' swimmers had an outstanding four days at the BNZ New Zealand agegroup swimming championships at the Moana Pool in Dunedin, last week. The Canterbury team returned with 24 gold, 21 silver and 18 bronze medals from the championships, and during the meet they broke 23 Canterbury records. Three Wharenui swimmers, Linda Robinson, Philippa LangreU and Nichola West, dominated their age-groups. Robinson won six gold and two silver medals in the 15, 16 and 17 years section; LangreU won seven golds; and West won six golds and one silver.
