School fire suspicious
The Papanui police are treating as suspicious a fire which caused minor damage to a prefabricated classroom at Cotswold Avenue Primary School, Bishopdale, yesterday afternoon. The fire, which was reported at 3.53 p.m., caused minor damage to the floor of the classroom. Two engines went to the scene after the fire was reported. The fire was quickly put out. The police will continue inquiries today.
