Conference exclusion
Sir, —People who think that the decision to exclude Dr Anne Mackay (January 29) from a conference in her own country is unfair may like to know that “AULLA” (Australasian Universities Language arid Literature Association) is pronounced “howler,” with only the aitch missing. — Yours, etc.,
