Rest home workers

Sir, —That Mr Moodie’s advertisement (October 14) was in such bad taste is why the workers should be ashamed of their union representatives. It is .the sort of advertisement you would expect to see back in Victorian times. Mr Moodie should note the Engineers’ Union advertisement in “The’ Press” today for common sense. Rest home workers deserve a new wage structure in line with recent economic moves and in recognition of the service they render. They will achieve this notwithstanding the misdirected union advertising. — Yours, etc.,

lAN WILSON. October 21, 1986.
