Cowlishaw Cup shared
Lincoln and Methven shared the Cowlishaw Cup, contested by women’s golf teams from Kaikoura to Methven and played at the Christchurch Golf Club’s course. Both teams scored 158 net. The, successful teams were.— Lincoln (Mrs D. MacKenzie, Mrs N. Moroney, Mrs
D. Keane and Mrs J. Carver); Methven (Mrs E. Taylor, Mrs A. Mee, Mrs B. Gawn, Mrs G. Goodwin). The Pumphrey Cup was won by Mrs D. Tinker and Mrs I. Greenall of McLeans Island with 74 net. Mrs E. A. Douglas and Mrs A. H. C. Nutt of Christchurch with 73 net won the Manuhiri Cup.
