Tracy in hospital
PA • Invercargill Tracy Holmes, the Otautau liver transplant patient, is In Dunedin Hospital as a precautionary measure, her father said yesterday.
Mr Gary Holmes said Tracy developed a high temperature and fever last Sunday night and was taken to Southland Hospital in case she had an infection.
That proved not to be the case, he said, but Tracy was still transferred to Dunedin, where the hospital had better equipment, on Thursday morning.
“They can’t find anything wrong with her,” Mr Holmes said. He was not sure when she would be discharged.
