Cameroon aid sought
The Red Cross Society is seeking money to help survivors of the volcanic gas disaster at Lake Nios, in Cameroon. Money is needed to buy medical supplies, gas masks, blankets, tents, clothes and mattresses for the survivors of the gas and those who have fled their homes.
About 1500 people died in the volcanic gas explosion.
