NZPA-Reuter Edinburgh England’s marksmen hit back to end Canada’s early domination of the shooting events at the Commonwealth Games yesterday. The North Americans won the free pistol and
air rifle team competitions on Saturday to take a 2-1 gold medal lead over England, but Michael Ashcroft and Gale Stewart were the Canadians’ only winners yesterday in the small bore prone rifle teanf event.
