Rep. golf at Hororata

North Canterbury won the senior battle and Central Canterbury took the junior honours when the representative golf teams from the two areas met in their annual contest at Hororata on Sunday. The North Canterbury senior team had virtually clinched their match when It led after the first round, 10&-5U, but Central Canterbury did well in the afternoon to tie the second round. Central Canterbury’s juniors were equally dominant in the first round, leading 5-1, and they completed an over-all win, 8-4. Results:— Morning round Central Canterbury North Canterbury 10i4 N. W.
