Conference appointments
Mr John Critchley, of Christchurch, has been appointed marketing manager by the Trotting Conference. Mr Critchley, aged 37, is an employee of a Christchurch advertising agency. He will take up his new appointment in a few weeks. Mr Frank Marrion has been appointed editor and publications manager of the “New Zealand Jlarness Racing
new name which will apply to the “Trotting Calendar” from August 1. Mr Tony Williams, who has run the "Calendar” for about nine years, has not renewed his contract. Mr Matt Conway, the trotting writer for the "Auckland Star,” has been appointed feature writer for the “Harness Racing Weekly.” Mr Conway, aged 20, will take up his new duties on July 1.
