The popular new Christchurch band, The JeanPaul Sartre Experience, are having a “Comet Commemoration” this evening at the Gladstone, supported by South American Question and Sun Zoom Spark. As well as plans to record an EP for Flying Nun, a trip to Dunedin for
shows and recording is also on the agenda. In the meantime, dress as your favourite comet and catch the band tonight. Beat Soldiers, the Auckland band that have a new single, "Conversation,” out on Ode Records, play at the Carlton Hotel on Wednesday as part of a South Island tour.
