Thompson twin
Chris and Lynne Thompson, two Auckland folksingers, play at the Folk Centre, in the Peterborough Centre, this Sunday as part of a New Zealand tour. For Chris Thompson' there has been the occasional confusion of identity. He went to school with another Chris Thompson, a Hamiltonian, who ended up in Manfred Mann. But he is distinctly
the folksinging Thompson, although he has worked with a wide number of musicians in his career, including Led Zeppelin. Lynne Thompson, the Canadian-born folksinger, who is married to Chris, brings the flute and harmonica to provide an addition to their sound. The show starts at 8 p.m., and the cost is $5 for folk club members and $6 for the public.
