Murder bid charge
PA Gisborne A man charged with the attempted murder of a 15-year-old boy was remanded in custody to April 28 when he appeared before JPs in the Gisborne District Court yesterday. The unemployed fisherman, aged 35, was granted interim suppression of name on the application of his counsel, Mr W. Mackey. When the man appeared again on , April 28, application would be made for a further remand for psychiatric examination, said Mr Mackey.
