Decline in imports
PA Auckland Imports through the Port of Auckland dropped 16 per cent in the 12 months to February 28, an Auckland Harbour Board committee was told. The chairman of the board’s finance committee, Mr Miller Mason, said there had been a 23 per cent fall in imports in the conventional port and 16 per cent over all.
