Conference reconvened
Wellington reporter The School Integration Conference of 1984 will be reconvened to consider issues dealing with the integration of private schools into the State system. It will be held at Parlia-
ment on May 1 and will discuss a December, 1984, working party report on enrolments, maximum school rolls, staffing and appointments, and school building programmes. The working party had been given instructions to examine these issues and
report back to the Minister of Education, Mr Marshall. The School Integration Conference Itself had been first convened to report on progress made, and on problems and anomalies met, under the integration legislation.
