Testing of shorter office hours

“During March, surveys will be made to find out how; ; the department’s clients- feel about the changes,” she said. “The surveys will help the Government decide future hours for departmental offices.” The shorter office hours were already providing a better trained staff able to keep up with their workloads, Mrs Kerens said.

"Special provision will still be made for emergency cases during the extension. In certain cases visits by appointment outside the office hours will continue,” she said.
