The Wool Board was again required to support the market, strongly during a combined auction of Invercargill and Timaru wool in Christchurch yesterday. The board bid on 10,433 bales, or 33.1 per cent of the offering, and had 5458 bales, or 17.3 per cent sold or passed to it, according to the official report.
