‘Country Girls’ call
The beguiling film of Edna O’Brien’s novel, “The Country Girls,” begins at the Academy tomorrow. “A Sunday in the Country” has proved so popular that it is transferring out to Sumner. The Midcity is reviving that classic gladiatorial epic, "Ben Hur.”
Rock documentaries and heavy metal music are mercilessly sent up in “This is Spinal Tap,” which begins screening at the Westend tomorrow. The film, directed by Rob Reiner, of “All In The Family” fame, follows a raucous group of “headbangers” on a tour through the United States.
