Another review
The Springston horseman, Gavin Thompson, has applied for a review of penalty following his suspension until January 25 for causing interference in a qualifying heat at the Motukarara, trials yesterday. This will enable him to fulfil his engagements at the Timaru Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday and remain driving until his appeal is heard. Thompson joins the queue behind three other South Island reinsmen who are waiting for appeals to be heard, including Mike de 3i, also for a review of y; and Murray Williams and Alan Scobie, who have both appealed against suspensions incurred in recent weeks.
