The Gadfly recovers
By
ALEX McMILLAN
The promising War Hawk II mare, The Gadfly, has fully recovered from her spectacular fall at Reefton last week, according to her Ikamatua trainer, Bill Kennedy, and the four-year-old is expected to start in the
Motorcorp Honda Handicap at Omoto on Friday. The Kennedy stable will also be represented in the 1400 m event by De Porres, which has pleased his trainer in recent weeks after suffering an injury in the starting stalls at Riccarton on November 16.
