PA Auckland The Jebsen Lines of Norway is to ship to Australia without charge New Zealand’s two yachts, which will challenge for the America’s Cup. The line’s gesture is estimated to save the challenger $1 million. The freighter, Jebsen Southland leaves Auckland about
January 3, carrying the two fibreglass' 12m yachts, support craft, vehicles and workshops for the world 12m championships off Fremantle. The New Zealand challengers will actually be shipped to and from Fremantle twice. The second time will be for the America’s Cup event itself.
