Opinion polls
Sir, — The pious respect accorded opinion polls is amazing. Recently we were offered ratings for the job of Prime Minister of New Zealand, including Mr Quigley
and Sir Robert Muldoon — impossible conclusions. They are not members of the ruling Government party, one is not even in Parliament and how illogical can we get? Did anyone come up with David R. Goliath or Mickey Mouse? — Yours, etc., M. LYONS. December 2, 1985.
