Juvenile trotters
The first race for the season for two-year-old trotters will be run on the first night of the Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s New Year meeting at Addington Raceway on January 1 next.
The race will be run over 2000 m from a mobile start for a stake of $l5OO. It will be a non-totalisator event.
In order to give these young horses some experience before the race, arrangements have been made to include events for them at the next two sets of barrier trials tomorrow and December 11. They will be standing-start events over 2000 m and will be run provided entries of sufficient number are received.
