PA Wellington The Ministry of Transport is baffled by the high weekend road toll, said the its assistant chief traffic superintendent, Mr Henry Gore, yesterday. The total of 11, which included a woman who was hit by an Army armouredpersonnel carrier, was well above this year’s week-end average of seven.
