PA Wellington The final day of Estimates will be debated in three weeks, said the Leader of the House, Mr Palmer, when Parliament began sitting at 2 p.m. yesterday. However, in response to a question by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr McLay, he said he did not yet have a date for the tabling and debate of the Supplementary Estimates. He thought that may be towards the end of November. After next week’s recess, members would concentrate on legislation on the Order Paper and the introduction of bills, he said.
