Moderator named
PA Dunedin A full-time lecturer at a New Zealand Roman Catholic seminary, the Rev. Dr I. J. Cairns, will become Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand on October 31, the Church has announced. Dr Cairns, aged 55, is a former missionary who is the first Protestant to lecture full-time at a New Zealand Catholic seminary. He lectures in New Testament studies at Holy Cross College, Mosgiel.
