New doorway solves diplomatic wrangle
PA Wellington A new entrance, telephone number, and bank account seem to have solved the diplomatic
wrangle over the Tourist and Publicity Department’s reservations office in San Francisco. The office would “separate” from the San Francisco consulate-general, after a United States State Department ruling that commercial sales activities were not allowed inside a diplomatic post, said the Minister of Tourism, Mr Moore, yesterday.
