B. Compton suspended
NZPA-AAP Sydney The expatriate New Zealander, Bruce Compton, became the third top Sydney jockey under suspension when he was put out by Australian Jockey Club stewards at Canterbury on Wednesday until September 14.
Compton, the first rider for the Paul Sutherland stables, now joins Noel Barker and Jim Cassidy on suspension and will miss the start of the rich Sydney spring carnival.
