Strong win for Home
Greg Hume (Healing Papanui) was too strong for the field in the A grade criterium cycle race held on the I.4km Maces Road circuit at Bromley on Sunday. Hume jumped the field in the seventh lap and stayed out in front for the final three laps, to win, and score 47 points, from second place rider junior world team representative, Wayne Eyre (Woolston), with 30 points.
The B grade criterium was won by Carlos Marryatt from Andy Frazer of Southern Districts (Auckland). The Novice A grade race was won by Grant Wengler, his second win in two days, and B grade was won by Marcus Flack. Criterium results.— A grade 10 laps: G. Hume, 47 points, 1; W. Eyre, 30 pts, 2; A.
